The news you've been waiting for: Check out the 2022 flower schedule

The news you’ve been waiting for!

I’m so EXCITED to announce that OPENING DAY will be THURSDAY, JUNE 23, from 9:00am-12:00pm.

This summer is shaping up to be a hot one, so plan your visit for the morning. That way, you’ll have the most comfortable, happiest experience possible.

Read on for everything you want to know.

WHEN IS THE FARM OPEN?

You can come to the farm and pick your favorite flowers on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 9:00am-12:00pm starting on Thursday, June 23.

Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before closing so you have plenty of time to pick your favorite flowers.

The flower farm will be in full swing towards the end of July. If you’re not already in the area, I suggest waiting until July or August to visit the farm.

WHAT’S BLOOMING?

Starting on Thursday, June 23, you’ll be able to pick lilies, echinacea, daisies, snapdragons, yarrow, blue scabiosa, stokes asters, matricaria, anise hyssop, monarda, orange milkweed, rudbeckia, and more.

Some flowers bloom all season, others bloom once or twice and then are done until next year. The farm changes as time goes by, so there is always something different for you to pick.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

The flower field is sunny, so wear sunscreen. You might want to bring a bottle of water, especially if it’s a hot day. Some visitors like to bring their gardening gloves. The farm is located on a slope, so please wear comfortable shoes that are good for walking in a farm field.

I provide vases, water, and scissors for cutting.

⚠️ A change from last year: Please don’t bring your own scissors or snips. To prevent the spread of plant diseases, I’m providing scissors this year for everyone to use on the farm.

WHAT’S THE COST?

Flowers are priced by the container, and you can fill your container with all your favorite blooms. All containers are reusable, and when you bring it back for a refill of flowers, you’ll get a $1 discount as a thank-you.

All prices include sales tax to make it easier for you - no counting pennies! Choose your size:

Tall Vase: This vase comfortably holds around 40-60 stems. $31, including sales tax

Blooming Bucket: Typically, visitors have 70-90 stems in their blooming bucket when they finish. $50, including sales tax

Party Pail: This 9-quart pail holds a lot of flowers – usually around 170-200 stems. $95, including sales tax

*HOW DO I PAY?

You can bring cash (small bills appreciated 😀), or pay with check, credit or debit card.
